Application of mixed-language programming to graphic analysis of typhoon data

With the mixed-language programming of the Visual Basic 6.0 or the Visual Fortran 6.5 two methods are discussed in detail.The grogram developed by the Visual Basic 6.0 runs the excutable program directly.The other quotes the subroutine through the Dynamic-link Library(DLL).The methods are introduced step by step by using an example in the graphic analysis system of the TY data.It provides a valid method to solve the main problems about how to develop the userinterface features and computation in a program.
