Application of Rough Set Theory in Asynchronous Motor Fault Diagnosis

Rough set theory is a new mathematical tool to deal with vagueness and uncertainty.The theory to deals with fault diagnosis of asynchronous motor,deals with the attribute reduction for the operational condition decision-making table of the asynchronous motor is utilized.The important attributes were extracted so as to decrease the redundancy of a decision-making table.The analysis shows that more clear and concise diagnostic rules could be acquired by using rough set theory.
