A Distributed Virtual Reality Framework Based on SAGE

A high performance generic framework can greatly lower the difficulty and cost of virtual reality system development.On this basis,we studied the typical existing frameworks and present a distributed virtual reality framework built on SAGE(Simple Adaptive Grid Engine).The framework is simple yet with good performance.It is also friendly to application developers.Performance and scalability are tested in the experiments and the result shows the good performance and scalability of the framework in medium-scaled and small-scaled VR applications.
