The Research and Implement in Visualization of Equipment Camouflage Effect

Pattern painting camouflage is the means used against military reconnaissance and weapon system.The camouflage effect plays a very important role in improving combat effectiveness and the viability in battlefield.This paper adopts image-based 3Dreconstruction technique and proposes an improved region growing method to 3Dscattered points Delaunay triangulation.For improving the searching efficiency,the algorithm stores the point cloud in the octree grid.Then,the paper raises the selection method in optimum points.Lastly,in order to ensure the triangle mesh can grow steadily,the relationship of two adjacent boundary edge expansion and the new expansion triangle is considered.
