Real-time control of nosocomial infection in patients with tracheotomy

Objective To provide real-time monitoring for patients with tracheotomy and to reduce the rate of nosocomial infection.Methods The real-time monitoring software for hospital infection control was used to monitor the hospital infection in 355 cases of tracheotomy patients.Through information collection,on-the-spot inspection,and supervision of the operations,we focused on the control of isolation,precautions and disinfection,and established the effective nursing project for the control of pneumonia related to tracheotomy.Result Through the whole process of monitoring for 355 cases of tracheotomy patients,the rate of pneumonia was decreased.Conclusion The monitoring software can provide reliable,real-time and constant information for hospital infection control,and can improve the efficiency of hospital infection control for patients with tracheotomy.
