The Radio-Location Method in Area Augmentation Navigation Position System

Navigation and Position is Triones in modern war.Constructing an Area Augmentation Navigation Position System(AANPS)in military hot areas can be served as standby and complementarity of present navigation and position systems,which forms a compositive navigation and position systems with stronger life-force.This paper firstly studies basic radio-locaiton types and radio-locaiton methods,secondly compares their advantages and disadvantages,then draws the conclusion that mobile station dominant location type and TOA/TDOA location method are much fit for AANPS.
