Improvement and Implement of the OBB Collision Detection Algorithm

In order to reduce the time complexity and improve the efficiency of the OBB Collision Detection Algorithm,an object-oriented OBB collision detection algorithm and traversal tracing strategy are proposed.The improved OBB collision detection algorithm tests this object's collision with the other objects in the scene only when the location or direction is changed,and the traversal tracing strategy tracks t model's last traversal process in the object tree,which can remove duplication of traversal process,to identify the current path.The experiment result shows that improved algorithm can detect the collision efficiently and quickly between the complex solid objects.
