A New Dynamic Packet Scheduling Algorithm Based on Agent

QoS is one of the most important research fields in communications. Scheduler occupies a very important position in many QoS architectures presented. But all the scheduling algorithms cann't alter dynamically the weights according to the queues' length. So a dynamic weight allocated algorithm is proposed to solve the scheduling problems in communication network. The proposed algorithm makes use of the agent technology to allocate the weight dynamically and ensure that the scheduler can treat every queue fairly. It is benefitial to handle the packet burst's circumstances and can ensure the packets in the long queues not to be dropped excessively.
