Conceptual Design of XML-based Data Warehouse

With XML is now a standard for the exchange of semi-structured data, designing data warehouse from XML source is a hot topic. In this paper, the conceptual design of data warehouse is proposed and the process starts directly from the source XML schema. After the XML Schema is specified, the XML Schema graph is created. And then, choose facts and build and rearrange the dependency graph. Define dimensions and measures in the final step. The application of XML in the data warehouse will increase with this method.
