Intelligent Transportation Systems-Public Transport(ITS-PT) makes use of advanced techniques to obtain the real-time public transport information,and to dispatch the buses,which is a new style of public transportation dispatching.The forecast of the running time from one stop to the next is the vital task in Public Transport Intelligent Dispatching System(PTIDS).The paper discusses the forecast theory and model and method of the time in public transport's LED based on PTIDS.The purpose is to lay a solid foundation for the development of PTIDS.
