MIMO Space-time Coding Technology in Wireless Communication System

In wireless communication system,the requirements on high quality and efficient broadband services are increasing.The space-time codes(STC) were designed to improve transmission quality,reduce BER,obtain higher encoding gain and diversity gain and improve the system capacity and spectrum efficiency using the multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) antenna system.Three kinds of space-time coding schemes(layered space-time code,space-time grid form code,space-time block code) in the multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) wireless communication system are introduced.The perfor-mance of these three kinds of schemes are analyzed and compared.
