Action of SQL Profiler in Database Optimization

As the increase of the data in database, the response speed of the system becomes slower and slower, which affect the total performance of system. It is significant to study the technique of database optimization. This paper introduces a method of database optimization employing SQL profiler. It relies on the profiler to find the SQL sentences influencing the performance of system and optimize them. Meantime, it employs index optimizer which can optimize the index to optimize the database. It has been found that, the presented method can remarkably improve the performance and efficiency of information management system.
