An overview of registration of medical anatomic images and functional images

Registration of medical anatomic images and functional images is a highlight of current research on medical image processing.It is a core and supporting technology of medical image fusion and important to clinical diagnoses and therapies.In this paper,medical image registration is introduced synoptically,leading registration methods of medical anatomic image and functional are analyzed.Main problems of registration of medical anatomic images and functional images are presented.
