Scheme for Improvement of Dam Safety Monitoring System, Wanjiazhai Water Multi-purpose Dam Project

Wanjiazhai Water Multi-purpose Dam Project is the first-level control one at middle reach of the Yellow River.Dam displacement to be monitored in time and accurately is not only related to safety of the dam itself but also significant to safety of downstream watercourse and banks as well as safety and stable operation of Shanxi-Inner Mongolian power grid.Based on actual operation and measured data of the existing observation facilities and equipment of the dam safety monitoring system of Wanjiazhai Water Multi-purpose Dam Project,disadvantages of the monitoring system are pointed out and corresponding scheme for its improvement is raised.
