Development of vegetable disease diagnose & multimedia consultation expert system of Gansu province

Based on 252 species diseases in 28 kinds of vegetables, including species, symptom, pathogen and occurring rules and controlling measures, Gansu province vegetable disease diagnose multimedia consultation expert system was developed by applying multimedia technique and simulating inference mechanism of experts. This paper also introduced method, structure, function, characteristics and application prospective of the system.
