Drum thickness design of silt disc separator

Aimed at the structure of disc separator,the principle of disc separator was introduced and the causes making centrifugal stress of the drum was analyzed.The formula for the drum wall thickness was deduced in this paper according to the third strength theories.Based on the nature of Yellow River,the data of the drum thickness were figured out by this formula.
