Fault analysis and prevention for the accident at water inlet of ZGM-123-Type mid-speed direct-blow pulverizer

Combined with the accident at water inlet of ZGM-123-Type pulverizer in the direct blow coal pulverizing system of Panshan Power Plant, the cause, influence, treatment and preventive measures of such accident were analyzed. During the accident, the main steam pressure drops rapidly, the current and outlet temperature of pulverizer become abnormal. The major factors contributing to this accident include the piping-main operation of flush water for stone coal washing system, the abrasion and plugging of pump valves resulted from bad conditions. Based on these, the optimized measures for effective operation management and prevention were proposed.
