The research of 220 kV substation engineering modular design

There exits a large amount of repetition design and do not have uniform construction standard in the process of 220 kV substation engineering design.So the modular design concept in the substation electrical section is posed in this paper.Then the method of modular substation engineering design is analyzed.The substation electrical section is divided into several modules,which are designed respectively.Then according to the demands of every substation,these modules are combined to fulfill the design.An example is explained to discuss that method can enhance the quality and efficiency of engineering design.The modular design offers a new direction for the development of the design enterprise.
