Heredity of Glandless Characters and Prospects of Glandless Cotton Industrialization

This paper reviews advances in studying heredity of glandless characters of cotton, analyzes prospects of industrialization of glandless cotton, and points out that breeding of glandless cotton with transgenic Bt or biochemical resistance to pests is a hopeful approach to putting glandless cotton varieties into market competition.
