Application of GPS Height Fitting Method in the Practical Project

GPS survey technology has been mature and perfect with the higher precision in the plane survey,but with the lower precision in the height survey.Based on the study on the GPS height fitting method in the practical project,this paper focused on analysis of the plane fitting method and curve-surface fitting method in the practical project,and evaluated the precision of the two methods;then study the location of the selected survey points,and numbers of the points etc how to affect the survey precision.The study result shows that the two fitting methods can meet the precision requirements for the practical project,and curve-surface fitting method has the higher precision.
