A Denoising Algorithm for Local Images Based on Boundary Integral Equation

A denoising algorithm for local images based on a boundary integral equation is proposed in combination with the boundary element method and the generalized minimal residual method.Experimental results show that the new algorithm is superior to the traditional wavelet shrinkage method or the recent contourlet shrinkage method for local images.
