Ddesign and Experimental Research of an S-band 20kW Solid-state Transmitter

Based on a newly developed S-band high power solid-state transmitter,this paper describes the theory and design methods of S-band high power solid-state transmitter.The feasibility of this design is verified by building and testing the transmitter.The transmitter has an instantaneous band width of 300MHz.The maximum pulse width is 150μS,and the maximum duty cycle is 10%,the maximum output peak power is over 20kW.
