Experimental Study on Relation of Ion Spectrum Detection Sensitivity and Q of LC Resonant Loop in Penning Trap

The Ion detecting principle in Penning Ion Trap and the theory result on relation of ion spectrum detection sensitivity and quality factor are introduced.The least threshold value is considered in the experiments,the ion spectrum analysis indicates that detection sensitivity is proportional to Q′s square of resonant loop.
