Research on multiple access technology of weapon data link

Real-time traffic is the hot debate on WDL multiple access.This paper studies the development and traits of WDL and proposes an MAC based on TDMA—Orthogonal Domain Time and Frequency Multiple Access,ODTFMA.In this protocol,the slot pre-assignment is based on the number of the planes and the max number of weapons is controlled by one plane.In one formation,multi-subnet works in different frequencies at the same time.This paper uses the OPNET modeler to emulate the performance of real-time traffic.The simulation results show the MAC adapts to the WDL and supports the real-time service efficiently.
