Study of WiMax Terminal Exit Based on MIP

Aiming at the problems in the terminal abnormal exit under the CMIP in the existing schemes of exit in the WiMax network architecture standards,this paper introduces WiMax standard architecture and Mobile IP(MIP) protocol.Existed terminal exit and resource releasing in CMIP/PMIP patterns are researched.A solution that the decision-making power for the detection of terminal abnormal exit and the launch of exit processes given to the Network Access Gateway(ASN-GW) is presented.Design and implementation of the solution indicate that the solution not only can solve the problems that it can not release resources timely or charge for properly under the CMIP mode,but also is suitable for the terminal normal exit and abnormal exit under the PMIP mode.
