Application and Development of VPN Technology

With the in-depth development of IT industry and the construction of corporate networks, the Internet-based applications have increased rapidly, while the Internet-based VPN applications gradually demonstrate its powerful superiority. Various VPN-based solutions have been applied in many sectors, thus opening a completely new industry market for the VPN technology and providing a reference model for the enterprise's information construction. This paper describes virtual private network and its related technology, corresponding concept, technical superiority, and application domains. Finally, the development of and the market prospects for the technology are forecasted.
