Analysis of the Broadband Voltage Controlled Band-stop Filter

In the relay communications,communication signals in the transmission process are often disturbed by outside a wide band signal,seriously affecting the communication quality and operation of protection devices particularly in the carrier communications. However,traditional narrow band stop filters( including notch filter) have such a limited attenuation range that ideal effect of interference signal attenuation cannot be achieved in this band. A wideband voltage-controlled band-stop filter can meet this requirement,and the voltage control circuit has the advantages of stable performance and easily adjustable gain. The input and output amplitude frequency characteristics of voltage-controlled band-stop filter are analyzed and its extended applications are introduced.
