The Research on Chinese Part-of-Speech Tagging Method Based on Conditional Random Fields

This paper presents a new method to part-of-speech tagging for Chinese texts based on conditional random fields.The method can take advantage of contexts of words as features.Experimental results show that the proposed method possesses better performance than that based on the HMM and MEMM.
