Texture Image Inpainting Method Based on Total Variation and Boundary Reconstruction

When inpainting texture image,it may cause the boundary blur that copy the pixels or the texture chose out,which comes from neighbor of damaged image,into damaged image area along the isophate.In order to resolve the problem,an image is composed into a cartoon image and a texture image by Total Variation(TV).The cartoon image is inpainted based on the edges repaired.The texture image is inpainted by using texture synthesis guided by reconstructed boundary,so that the texture and structure of damaged image can be inpainted simultaneously.Experimental results show that the algorithm does well for the image with complex structure.
