Application of Database Technology to Preventing Hazards Project of Qinling Tunnel

It is difficult to put out the tunnel fire, which acts as the key factor impacting the safety of constructing and using a tunnel, and it causes a lot of damage. Depending on the database technology, the transmission of fireproof information can be speeded up, the quality of decision making increased, the correctness, security and secrecy of fireproof information ensured and the damage caused by fire decreased. The author expatiates the process of design and application of fire information database to Qinling Tunnel.
