A Multi-dimension and Animated Visualization System for Marine Scalar Field Data with Multi-mode

A multi-dimensional and animated visualization system based on earth-fixed axis and 3D UTM grid system(UNIVERSAL TRANSVERSE MERCARTOR GRID SYSTEM) is designed.This system realized the mapping and synchronization of visualization between two coordinate systems and discussed the visual expression of point process,line process and polygon process for marine scalar field data in the two.The real-time massive data evolution visualization was also archived by memory mapping method.The result shows that the system could intuitively express the spatial distribution and temporal changes of the marine scalar field with great efficiency.
