The Golden Lotus and Covert Accumulation——Review on its Nature of Talking and Singing
FU Shan-ming · Oriental Forum · 2009
The Golden Lotus is not the type of novel accumulated from generation to generation, nor is it a covert accumulation novel as some researchers have pointed out.It is the fi rst novel created independently by the author, based on a wide range of materials.Instead of serving musical story-tellers,it is suitable for reading only at one’s desk.
