Analysis and Optimization of BTS Coverage for WCDMA System

WCDMA base station coverage is the most important part of the WCDMA wireless network planning. In this paper, the WCDMA uplink budget method and process is first analyzed, then the WCDMA BTS coverage is theoretically computed, and finally the coverage simulation graph of certain region based on the Monte Carlo is given, the typical coverage is analyzed and optimized. Simulations indicate that the coverage of certain region base-station can be directly seen, and that it has some reference value for the WCDMA wireless network planning.
