In recent years,Monitorial System has been used in freshmen educational management in China,which has achieved remarkable achievements.Through making a review of the research on Monitorial System,the paper explores the origins of the System,the reasons of employing it,its patterns,effectiveness and results.The paper attempts to provide some theoretical reference for further study and the new practice of Monitorial System applied in colleges,and to promote the innovation in educational and managerial patterns of college students.
