The status quo and trends of the research on evolutionary computation

Evolutionary Computation has developed into an important nonlinear calculation method in recent years and has been paid close attention to and applied because of its characteristics of self-organization,adaptability and self-learning.This paper reviewed this technology in the aspects of its main branches,characteristics and its current developmental situations and looked into the future of its developmental trends.
