Structure and Property of Melt-Spinning Polyurethane Based Hollow Fiber Membrane
Liang Hai-xian · Journal of Functional Polymers · 2007
The hollow fiber membranes were prepared by melt-blending the ternary systems of(polyurethane),polyvinylidene fluoride and polyethylene glycol. The microstructure and properties of the membrane were studied. The water flux of hollow fiber membrane declined was also analyzed. The experimental results show that the hollow fiber membranes possess interfacial and non-inter-(facial micro-void.) With the changing of work conditions, the structure of microvoid change(accor-)dingly,the membranes exhibite pressure and temperatureresponsibility. After heating treatment, the micro-voids of the membranes are closed, and the water flux of hollow fiber membrane decline.Extending the working time, the membranes tend to compact, which also induce the water flux to decline.
