Design of Detection System Against the DoS Attack at the MAC Layer in Wireless Ad Hoc Network

Based on introduction the Denial of Service(DoS) attack and the Distribution Denial of Service (DDoS) attack, This paper discusses possible types occurring in the wireless Ad Hoc network, proposes a design scheme of detection system to DoS attack occurring in MAC layer, describes algorithm and steps how to deal with multithreading data of the scheme, finally analyzes performance of the detection system in both false alarm and memory expense by simulation.
