The article mainly introduced the contrast between Oracle 9i and Microsoft SQL Server2000 when using temporary tables,and the application method and operation standard in different database system.Meanwhile That Oracle 9i uses temporary tables in the actual application was explained.The temporary table is special relational table in database system.Its use in database system can solve some problems of performance,for example select data between some big tables.The temporary table is an important database table in database performance tuning.
