Review and Analysis on L'anza Decision

The L'anza Decision is concerning a very important issue in the field of copyright——parallel imports. After copyright works are put into the market with the agreements of copyright owner or by the copyright owner himself, the right contained in the copyright works, whether exhausted or not, will affect the free movement of the works within the market directly. In order to protect the right holder's profits, and keep the high price of copyright works, the right holder limits the copyright work moving in a specific market and restrains such works selling market, however, what the right holder does could infringe the competition law.
