The System of Voice Articulation Measurement and Its Experimental Study

A system of voice articulation measurement is designed. The core technology of this system is the extraction of initial, which include endpoint detection and separation of initial and final. Upon the completion of the initial extracted, according to the characteristics of the various types of initials, the relevant parameters of the acoustic features are extracted which will be used for discriminating the type of initials. Finally, a stand-alone executable software system of articulation and phonological measurement based on the MATLAB2008b platform is developed. This dissertation also introduces a clinical case of articulation and phonological measurement system.
