Sampling strategy for measurement of periodic signals

Impact for measurement uncertainty of periodic signals produced by the asynchronism of the clocks in signal source and sampling device is analyzed.It is dependence on the relative error of the period.From the conclusion a few of the sampling strategies are discussed and compared.In which the compensation approach from Non-Integer-Period Sampling has a wide flexibility.Some research points in the field are pointed.
