ON HEAT OF SOLUTION AND REFRACTIVE INDEX

The refractive index,density and heat of solution were surveyed separately for two classes of two-composite solutions.The equation n=1+∑(ρD)j was used to calculate the liquid refractive index.The relation between deviation of actual from predicted refractive index,and heat of solution was analyzed.This work correlated the expression n=1+∑(ρD)j with other characteristics of materials,and proved the rationality of the electronic cloud conductor model.
