The paper looks at the research of GIS in Archaeology retrospectively both at home and abroad, and describes its main research content. From the development of site predictive models, it systematically summarizes and analyzes the theories and methods used in site predictive models. It also gives a detailed analysis the applications of GIS in Archaeology.
