Discussion of VPN Technology Apply in Surveying and Mapping Data Secure Transmission

This paper introduces virtual private network technology,describes the structure and security mechanisms of virtual private network,and analyzes the advantages of VPN technology apply in surveying and mapping data secure transmission.Using existing network resources to set up VPN network for data encrypted transmission,surveying and mapping departments not only can improve network efficiency,but also can broaden the way of data sharing and distributing.
