SMC/ADL:An Architecture Description Language for Hierarchical Component-based System

To solve the problem of Abstractly setting up the static,running and dynamic architecture model for the system constructed by the SMC component model,an architecture description language,which is named SMC/ADL and expressed by XML,was put forward.From the three perspectives of the type,instance and instance-behavior,SMC/ADL utilizes a set of XML schemas to define the integrated architecture convention framework supporting software modeling from design to running,until evolution phase,so as to extend the support for the architecture high-level Abstracting to the whole lifecycle of software.Relevant tools have testified its validity and practical applicability.
