Development and implementation of data warehouse management system based on GIS

To solve the problems associated with processing massive data,information integration and multi-purpose utilization in petroleum resource information,a spatial data warehouse management system is proposed based on GIS in this study.Object-oriented design method is adopted for the development.Microsoft Visual Studio 2008(C#) is used as a development tool.Also,ETL and Oracle 11g OLAP tools are used to import data and service development.The system design is optimized by optimal coding specifications of 10 topics data,naming rules and data association to enhance data integration and generality.The study is useful in comprehensive utilization of national petroleum information and integration of geoscience data.
