A seven-segment code recognition method for use with digital instruments implemented by VC++

This paper gives an introduction about a seven-segment display recognition method for use with digital instruments.This method is implemented in the VC++6.0 programming environment.According to the feature of a seven-segment image,the paper presents an appropriate piecewise linear gray level transformation method,slop angle adjustment method and feature extraction method.The experimental results show that the recognition method can raise its efficiency and accuracy.
