An Fault Intelligent Diagnosis System Based on Mixed Inference

The overall frame of the fault diagnosis expert system for the communication equipment is introduced. The func-tions and tactics of every part are explained. Then, the methods, by which we acquire the knowledge based on expert system arepresented. The system adopts a kind of new inference mechanism, which combines fuzzy inference with rule inference, andmakes good use of the advantages of the two methods.
