Information barrier in nuclear disarmament:methods and techniques

The paper discusses the concept and connotation of information barrier in terms of informa tion safety, security and authentication. It introduces the history of development, functional require ments , the technical methods and techniques of information barrier for verification in nuclear disarma ment. The conclusion of the paper is that, if proper and adequate information barrier being introduced, the verification of nuclear disarmament can employ more complete and advanced techniques, more intru sive measurement equipments and devices, in order to effectively increase the confidence.
