The Application of GPS Time Calibration System to Power Automation

This paper introduces the principle of the service GPS time clock provides to automation in automation system of substation,and proposes the program to apply the time clock to substation by using GPS receiver and T89C55 SCM system.The design of the software and hardware for the time clock is also presented,and in detail the measures are introduced to prevent being interfered the soft ware of PPS signal within the device and the techniques to send in advance on the serial communication are also illustrated.
